Felt or “For Every Living Thing” is a clothing brand aimed as a platform for friends to dress unapologetically. Based out of New York, the brand has had affiliation with Mac Miller, Frank Ocean and Freddie Gibbs. Launched by Kristian Acosta and Louie Correa in 2015, influences come from vintage sports, house playlists and simply life itself. For the Fall/Winter 2022 Delivery, Felt mixes contemporary and psychedelic styles.
Reminiscent of 2000’s NERD colorways, the LT400 Packable Down Jacket fuses a chocolate brown exterior nylon shell with a sky blue inside. Aside from the two customary hand pockets, the jacket features a rear branded back pocket. Other pieces in the collection, such as the Butterfly Fleece Sweatpants feature embroidered branding with Monarch butterflies on the logo and over the front of the pants. These designs also tap in similarly with Tyler, the Creator’s Golf Le Fleur’s “Save the Bees” campaign.
Felt also collabed with Elbo Glass, creating dino-vinyl figures with monarch butterflies, a motif that grew notoriously in 2021. With the 2016 collection, “new Skool Acid” orders were accompanied by blotter art, an undosed acid sheet. Felt unveiled a collab in the works The Hundreds to be dropped in 2023.
