With sustainability, a hot topic of today, Converse and the brand’s Renew program set their sights on re-using denim jeans, landfills’ most prominent items, for their newest releases.

The Converse “Renew Denim” Chuck 70 Highs and Ox Lows are inspired by the idea of upcycling denim, as each sneaker will be crafted using an individual pair of jeans. Dependent on the wash of the denim chosen, the colors of the uppers will range from dark to light shades. As for the bottom portion of the releases, other details include a white midsole, toe cap, laces, and the use of the signature Chuck Taylor All-Star branding. Prices are set at $90 and $96 for the Converse Chuck 70 High and Ox Low respectively.
